Thank you for a very wonderful dose.

I enjoyed your collages very much. What a lovely first couple we have.

Harper Lee looks so happy. The conventional wisdom on her is that she has become a recluse but she sure looked like she was enjoying the President and her honor.

I have not been around much for the last 3+ weeks due to my husband's serious illness. I have looked in on the Dose frequently-just have not had the time or energy to post. Be assured that I have appreciated having the Dose up every night. It gave me something to look foward to after my sometimes arduous days at the hospital.

Thank you all for your prayers. They were answered and my husband is on his way to recovery. Please keep praying for an uneventful post-operative course. He is now in a rehab facility which is a good step forward.

Love, hugs and thanks to All.

Thanks. Only God could have given me the strength to get through the past 3 weeks. We live in S. California and many of the homes in our community were lost. We did not have to evacuate but we were on pre-evacuation alert so had to have our car packed and ready to go. Plus lots of bad air and smoke and also could not get to the hospital one day because of the road closings. Taking things one day at a time really helps.

"Well, this is NOT the place to be expressing your ill feelings!"

Really, I thought that that was one of the whole point of Free Republic.
