City of Albany Oregon Veterans Day Parade
It is a Red,White&Blue patriotic event that MUST be seen if you can make it.
My son's Boy Scout troop has a float in the parade for the 4th consecutive year.
Albany is a conservative area of blue state Oregon and has a lot of retired military living here.
Anyway, this Sunday, Nov. 11th @ 10:00am, (weather iffy this time of the year), come and experience an incredible patriotic event.
Bring lawn chairs, American Flags and dress warm.
Cheers!!
UM>.....I think Auburn, Washington might be as big or BIGGER!

Oh Yeah,
Albany Oregon is further south than Auburn Washington, nearer the equator so we’ll have more global warming and more people, so there:)
It’s just a few miles from my home town of Lebanon. We used to love the Timber Carnival and the Crazy Days (Daze?) sidewalk sale and the Linn County Fair, all held in Albany. Wish I could come and visit.

Please notify me via FReepmail if you would like to be added to or taken off the Oregon Ping List.
I used to live there from 1971 to 1980. Got my first real job there, in a machine shop on Queen Avenue. All my kids were born there.
I kinda miss it.
The parade in Albany, Oregon is actually held on Saturday, November 10th. Don’t come November 11th—it will all be over.
Unless all 3 of my house calendars are wrong, Veterans Day is Sunday, November 11th, the actual day of the parade.
