Hopefully, things will look up after Ernie Fletcher fades into the background. I don’t think he’s guilty of the worst charges against him, but he has shown some bad judgement.

Republicans can’t afford to lose Kentucky in 2008.

Kentucky and Tennessee are fairly similar so it’s hard to see why a New Yorker would do so much better than a Tennessean...unless there is spillover from UK fans resenting the fact that UT usually is higher ranked in football (and has two national championships vs. UK’s none). Or it could be because Fred is less well-known.

So, Kentucky wants to vote for higher taxes for smokers, give illegal aliens drivers licenses, and wants to lose to the terrorists in Iraq?

Is that what they want? Or is it another MSM-plus-Democrat misdirection ploy?
