Kentucky and Tennessee are fairly similar so it’s hard to see why a New Yorker would do so much better than a Tennessean...unless there is spillover from UK fans resenting the fact that UT usually is higher ranked in football (and has two national championships vs. UK’s none). Or it could be because Fred is less well-known.

How much of Hillary’s support in Kentucky in particular but elsewhere as well has been due to her front runner status?
Until a few days ago she had not been asked a tough question that required her to take a stand on a serious issue. Once we have decided on a Republican nominee her numbers will go down, especially in states like Kentucky.
