Giuliani Impersonates Hillary, Says Bill Clinton Had Head in the Sand
ABC News ^ | November 3, 2007 | ABC News

ABC News' Jan Simmonds reports: With an Elvis impersonator crooning just two floors below him, Rudy Giuliani, R-N.Y., took aim on Friday at both Hillary Clinton, D-N.Y., and her husband, former President Bill Clinton.

Speaking at a town hall in Berlin, New Hampshire, Giuliani first set his sights on Hillary Clinton and used humor to answer a question about Clinton's much analyzed debate response on whether she supported a plan to grant driver's licenses to illegal aliens in New York state.

"Oh gee I can't figure out what to think," said Giuliani satirizing Clinton.

"Don't pick on me by asking that question. That's a gotcha question. Do not pick on me for asking that question. Now let me see what I think…. Let me see… First put up your hands and tell me what you think. Then I'll tell you what I think. Are you for it or against it? Ok, you're not gonna tell me. So I'm for it, for it. I am against it. I'm for it and against it. And I wanna be your president."

The Rooty Rooters have greatly distorted when Rooty threw Arafat out of the Lincoln Center.

Arafat was an official INVITED GUEST of the United States. I do not like that fact and I think the Clintons were wrong to invite him, but the fact remains that foreign policy is the domain of the State Department NOT A MAYOR. International diplomatic protocol is very specific about treatment of official diplomats and Rooty violated it. The potential repercussions could have been a disaster, what if unfriendly governments or Islamofascist warlords had begun arresting American diplomats and using this a precedent-setting justification?

“First of all, Ronald Reagan would not have sat idly by and allowed the attempted takeover of the GOP by the New York liberal wing of the party. In this case, he would have gone with a third party candidate to preserve Conservative principles.”

BUMP

Rudy Giuliani was a mistake by Reagan. Any true Reagan conservative would recognize that.

And after a couple of years, Reagan demoted him.

This constant promotion of Giuliani is wearing thin.....

Judging by his supporters, Giuliani is relying on the "I'll Believe Anything This Liar Says" AKA "The Dumb Vote."

Giuliani is also a meal ticket for these characters.

Rooty Tooters are a bunch of CHEAPSKATES AND DEADBEATS.

These deadbeats care nothing for US values; they believe in nothing. They can't pay their own way or earn their own keep.......taxpayers have to foot their frickin' bills.

Sucking up tax monies in a Tooty admin is all these money-hungry nitwits care about.

The Rooty suckups will be slobbering at the public trough 24/7.

Rooty is nothing but a meal ticket for CHEAPSKATES AND DEADBEATS.........and a lightning rod for The Dumb Vote.

Republicans are pro family, pro decency, pro God, pro life, and against abortion, gay marriage and the gay agenda. It’s in the official party platform and your Republican president champions the cause. Since you are so ignorant of the party standard, you might want to read up on the subject. And while your at it, contrast it to the Democrat platform. I think you’ll find it right up your ally and you should seriously think about changing your party affiliation.
Thanks

They were a disaster! If you go back and read the news from the days and weeks following Rudy's little publicity stunt, you find a slew of government officials scurrying around trying to clean up after the damage he did. Rudy exercised extremely poor judgment and didn't bother to think of repercussions. It was just another example of why Rudy should never be considered presidential material.

When the president of the US does not support the laws of this land then it is up to the individual to take a stand. Arafat was the head of an officially identified terrorist organization. Clinton was just a slimy liberal who wanted to play nice-nice to the PC crowd.

Arafat was invited to speak at the UN. That was the end of the “Official” role he had in NYC. The Lincoln center thing was a private event and not an official state function. Rudy showed courage to have him escorted back to the embassy. It is your type of thinking and whining that makes Rudy’s actions all the more meaningful.

As a matter of the violation of our diplomats, need I remind you of the Iran embassy takeover? Face it. Rudy was 100% correct in his actions. If there were a shadow of a doubt that he screwed up, the screaming liberals would not have shut up as soon as he showed that he was not going to back down. Additionally, why do you think that none of Rudy’s opponents are using this as an issue? I’ll tell you why. Rudy was correct and he violated no laws nor diplomatic protocols. If he had, all of his opponents would be all over him like stink on sh _ _. If they bring it up it will only make Rudy look stronger than they could ever hope to be.

I didn't like Clinton's foreign policy, but it is the president's job to set it. What you are advocating (usurping foreign policy) is a crime.

It's a somewhat complex issue. It's far easier just to point out that Rooty Toot is a pro-abortion, pro-homosexual, anti-Second Amendment, pro-illegal alien liberal.

Tommy:

I think the constant negative postings of your do more to harm your rationale and your conservativeism than any positive (shilling) for Rudy may be doing. All I’ve seen in this thread are reasons against rather than any logical arguments FOR any person. You sound like you are reading from the Moveon.org handbook.

The simple fact is that no one on this site knows what RR would do today. He was the right man for his time and his time has come and gone. The principals he stood for are still alive and well, but there will never be another Ronald Reagan. Let’s not continue to project “WHAT” RR would do today. It is all idle speculation with no foundation in fact. If we are counting on another of RR to save this election, we are all doomed. It is time to deal in the reality of the present moment and do our best to elect a republican, even if flawed in certain areas.

So, do you think that any mayor should have the authority to undermine official U.S. foreign policy?

who do you think Ronald Reagan would vote for in a Rudy/Hillary matchup???

I'm sure Reagan would fight to get a candidate that could beat Hilliary.
