WASHINGTON -- A prominent feminist, allied with the presidential campaign of former Sen. John Edwards, accused Democratic front-runner Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton on Saturday of "disingenuously playing the victim card" by infusing her campaign with messages about gender.
"When unchallenged, in a comfortable, controlled situation, Sen. Clinton embraces her political elevation into the 'boys club,' " Kate Michelman, the former president of NARAL Pro-Choice America, wrote in a posting on a blog of the liberal group Open Left.
But when she's challenged, when legitimate questions are asked, questions she should be prepared to answer and discuss, she is just as quick to raise the white flag and look for a change in the rules," Michelman said. "It's trying to have it both ways."
The missive by Michelman, a senior advisor to the Edwards campaign, was the latest salvo in a week in which gender flared as an issue in the Democratic presidential contest. Her cutting comments were publicized by the Edwards campaign in a press release.

Very true. This woman is just taking orders from one of the Hildebeast’s competitors. When Edwards it out of the running, you KNOW who’s ship she will try to jump on and stay relevant.

Senator Hillary Clinton is essentially her husband minus the charm and with a bad temper. That could turn really ugly on her pretty quickly.

Michelman is going down. Something in her background will be dredged up by the Hellery campaign. Pretty foolish moove on her part, IMO.
I’ve heard that Edwards was more of a woman than Hitlery ever thought about being.

The “ladies” of the left need to get a clue. Hillary knew what happened to Vince Foster. It was her husband’s BEST FRIEND FROM CHILDHOOD. She knew what happened at the ROSE LAW FIRM and that papers were being shredded, since she ordered it.
YET, she went before the cameras and straight-faced, and un-emotionally DENIED knowing ‘anything at all’.
She’s used to it being ‘both ways’ and she’s used to making sure it’s ‘her way’. Whatever that happens to be at the time.

Adversity reveals character. The Clintons problem will be that their character gets revealed.
The important thing about this and the Mo Do column I also posted is that both show the Witch’s “Poor me, I’m just a girl being picked on by all these horrible men” line isn’t working. Now the Pubbies can start showing some guts and go after her without fear of that counter attack working.
