That may cause confusion... but then again if people THINK it’s 9:00, and it’s 8:00, and they tune into MTP at the same time they think it’s supposed to be on, it’s all a wash (although they’ll be much confused later on).
Like I said, I think this is only specific to your station and not NBC as a whole. All the stations in my area seem to be carrying MTP at its regularly scheduled time.
Thompson needs an ace on Timmuh’s show... he’ probably our only shot for a conservative in 2008.
he’ = he’s
I just watched Thompson’s whole thing on MTP. It’s on early here in NJ due to the NY marathon. I don’t want to say what I thought of it.
ps— and i pretty much never watch that show. ever. i made a point of watching it cuz he seems to be our hope.
I'm not buying that ... it's one thing not to agree with the war or how it was run .. it's a completely different matter to do what the paper was reporting
Hoo boy... from that tone Russert seemed to be even more of a pompous fool than usual. As I suspected.
I don’t get MTP ‘til 10:00 here so I’ll have to wait to see what happened for myself.
Thanks for the ping!
Mark Penn will be trying to cover Hillary ample rear today. Since Biden can only mouth the words of others, I doubt Penn will be challenged at all in rewriting last week’s events.
get ready for Fred to get hit with this:

Thompson Adviser Has Criminal Past (here we go)
The Washington Post ^ | Nov 3, 2007 | Matthew Mosk

Republican presidential candidate Fred Thompson has been crisscrossing the country since early this summer on a private jet lent to him by a businessman and close adviser who has a criminal record for drug dealing.
Hillary considers soft ball questions to be too tough for her. From now on she wants the ball placed on a tee for her.
...and what actually happened are usually wildly different. Always remember that.
Great work, rodguy, I hope everyone gets caught up on this.
Thompsons campaign said the candidate was not aware of the multiple criminal cases, for which Martin served no jail time. All are described in public court records.
Karen Hanretty, Thompsons deputy communications director, said Saturday that Sen. Thompson was unaware of the information until this afternoon. Phil Martin has been a friend of the senator since the mid-1990s and remains so today. Thompson communications director Todd Harris added that Martin was not subjected to the campaigns standard vetting process because hes a longtime friend.
Theres not a campaign in the world that has the ability to research every one of its supporters going back more than 20 years, Harris said.
Hillary doesn’t dare open her motuth again in a setting she does not abolutely control. Way too risky. That is why Weswley was the preferred post debate agenda stop.
No more ad-hoc questions for the queen. Can’t give the moderators/media any “license”.
Re: #52.....Hillary’s husband has a criminal past too. Will we ever see that headline?
On the whole though the Telegraph are fairly right wing and is considered to be the quality right wing paper where as the Mail and express though right wing tend to be thought of as less serious publications.
I admit I take the Express as with my schedule I prefer a quick read in a paper along with some decent sports coverage and of course a dose of gossip.
