Tucson police are searching for a suspect in a drive-by shooting early Saturday morning that left one man dead and another seriously injured.
At about 2 a.m. three soldiers stationed at Fort Huachuca in Sierra Vista were leaving Tucson hip-hop club Envy, 6211 E. Speedway, following an argument with the suspect, Jurel Dionne Roberson, 21. As the three soldiers were driving west bound on Speedway, Roberson pursued them in a borrowed car, pulled up along side the victims and fired several shots into their car.

Let’s hope this POS is killed during while being arrested.

I’m guessing the cops will find him within 48 hours. The Huachuca crowd will probably be put on limited access to Tucson for a weekend...to make sure no retribution occurs. I lived in Tucson in the early 1990s....and thought it was fairly safe throughout town...even after 10pm. Obviously, things have changed a little.
For those who’ve never been to Sierra Vista or the Ft Huachuca area...other than going to the local Dairy Queen or McDonalds...there isn’t that much out there for a 20-year old to get into trouble. So you’ve got to go over to Tucson for excitement.
Holy crap! I was just there! Heading back for EWO school next month!
Stay away from bars around closing time...
I always left 1/2 hour early.
Good advice, and when the hip hop crowd shows...Leave sooner.
I'm betting the likelihood of the suspect "making affertive moves with his hands giving the officer reason to believe he was reaching for a weapon causing him to discharged his firearm in the line of duty" is almost a certainty for this Adam Henry. He better find himself a really well lighted area with a lot press present to turn himself in.
What is a "hip-hop crowd?"
Every good bar I liked, when younger, eventualy got taken over by that crowd, and eventualy ruined. You start playing that kind of music, trouble comes this way...
Nothing good happens after 1:00 a.m.
gold chains, bling bling, grilles, Yo mama, and the associated music/attitude.
There are certain areas where we do not go in Louisville, for there is hardly a weekend that goes by that there isn't a homicide or two in the parking lot of a bar or club.
To bad there isn’t a way to increase the numbers..
Huh?
Trust me, I learned the hard way too. Broken ribs, smashed face... Good clean fun..
The title threw me off for a sec. I thought there were soldiers at Ft Huachuca that were 3ft tall.....
We usually don't have too much trouble on that front. Although that can generally be attributed to the fact that I'm 6'3", 225# and most of my clubbing buddies are of the same size and height. The only one who isn't very big looks like he could be cast as the stereotypical Hispanic gangster, despite the fact that he is of pure German heritage.
I know all of the bouncers pretty well, so they usually give me a hand in hauling all of my friends out to my Highlander, which keeps trouble in the parking lot to a minimum.
There's a midtown "entertainment district" where I live, and the center zone police have to switch over to a military style radio and patrol plan at midnight every night. I listen to this on my scanner and am always amazed at what I hear. The clubbers wander all over the area, congregate in every parking lot, and start throwing things, fighting, and shooting every night. One night I heard 14 cars dispatched to one place and it wasn't enough. Before that mini riot was controlled another one broke out across the street, and cars had to be dispatched from other zones up to 10 miles away. I've listened to frantic radio traffic involving people shot dead on the street, cars ramming into crowds during the getaway, and running gun battles halfway across the city. This crap goes on every night, 6 nights a week, as long as the "entertainment district" is open for business.

Is that some kind of code for “blacks”?
Really, it’s still legal to say blacks, Negroes, colored or simply black punks...
It not hate speech to speak in accurate descriptive language — yet!
