Get it thru your head, I'm talking about JAPANESE treatment of prisoners.

The Japanese also interned civilians ~ not just military ~ and your chances of survival as a civilian internee under the Japanese were FAR HIGHER than your chances of survival as a civilian prisoner under the Germans, particularly if you were Jewish or Polish.

You can't focus solely on the survival rate of POWs under the Germans and ignore the survival rate of civilians under the Germans.

Besides, if the Germans had managed to gain a stalemate, or, Heaven forbid, win the war, those POWs would have been disposed of like so much rubbish.

This started with my point that ALL the pukes on THE OTHER SIDE were absolutely dreadful during WWII.
