If Hunter's campaign is "obsolete," it's only in the sense that modern American society has become so decadent that a man of virtue, honor, and decency is considered passe. It's tragic that so many people, even on FR, are following the "horse race" between unprincipled egotists like Rudy, Romney, etc., rather than getting behind the real conservative, Hunter.
Very nice. Duncan Hunter is our canary in he mine. This country better start paying attention to what we're willing to sacrifice for PC globalism.
Someone spending a few dollars on lottery tickets or going to play BINGO is none of Hunter's concern and I doubt that the vast majority (like me) who do gamble don't have any problems.
He's not some libertarian extremist, who thinks that dogma trumps historical experience about human societies and the fate of nations.
I don't want him to be a libertarian extremist. But certainly he needs to read a book on federalism instead of being Huckabee lite.

No, it just means Hunter tried to run a traditional campaign, thinking that the liberal media would give him interviews all the time, especially to a Congressman.

I agree, and I said that most conservatives are hypocrites for ignoring Hunter on the fallacy that he couldn't "win" but will wait out in the pumpkin patch for Fred! to arrive like Linus. If I wasn't such a free-market libertarian I would've been out there supporting Hunter since Day One.
