What did she say? Is for, against, or neutral? She still has a large following of Pakistanis.

you meant they won’t let the MSM report the “truth”? Freedom is Speech! Freedom of Speech man! /src

Sounds like civil war between the government and the “insurgents, freedom fighters”?
MSM likes it that way.
To: Heatseeker
Im guessing it was Pashtu?
Could've been, or it could have also been Punjabi. Man, could you imagine giving an address in three languages?

You could be right. I don't have a good ear for south Asian languages.
Nawaz Sharif is calling for "the people to rise". Easy to say when you're elsewhere (Dubai in his case). I'd also forgoten how nuts Indians are about cricket: your neighboring country with whom you've been at war like 4 times in the past half-century, which now has about 100 atomic bombs, declares a state of emergency, and mainly you're worried about whether the Indo-Pak test match will go forward. ;)

LOL! The Pakis are also pretty good at cricket too, I hear. Must have been the British influence in India.

Whos got the keys to the nukes? I fear that is why some of this is happening.

Glenn Beck will be in rare form Monday if true. His "Coming Storm" scenario now may have another straw on a camels back.... Care to give us the Readers Digest version? I work weekdays, and don't get to listen.

I suspect you are right. The big question is if someone else has copies.

Red,
It is the "Perfect Storm", sorry on that slip.
Go here for more: http://www.glennbeck.com/perfectstorm/index.shtml
Essentially a series of cascading events by our enemies could bring us to our knees. It is not so much they are working in collusion, they maybe, but it is that we are also not prepared on a personal level and as a nation. Frightening stuff....
To: taildragger
we are also not prepared on a personal level and as a nation We'll be just fine until the text messaging goes down and there is no gasoline for our pickup trucks and 2-cycle engines.

I saw on another thread that he was in Saudi Arabia. You're right, just got back from dinner to check the latest and they mentioned it. I thought I had heard him say he was in Dubai when they interviewed him earlier today.
Still, I don't think it made him look very good - he calls for revolution from a safe distance, while Benazir goes back and criticizes from ground zero. OTOH maybe she's done her deal with Musharraf and knows she can get away with it. ;)
The $64K question is how strongly the islamicists react and whether Musharraf will really get a handle on them, particularly in NWFP. We'll see in the coming days.

Well I wouldn't have been surprised...Dubai seems to be the destination of choice for self-exiled former Pakistani Prime Ministers. Maybe
Dubailand is the attraction, LOL
And yes, the next few days in Paki will be interesting. Gonna be busy for my ping list.
