ANNAPOLIS, Md. (Oct. 31, 2007) - Ceremonial marching platoons assigned to Military District Washington enter the U.S. Naval Academy Cemetery as part of the funeral procession for former Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Adm. William J. Crowe. Crowe, who graduated as a member of the Naval Academy's Class of 1947, served as chairman of the Joint Chiefs from 1985 to 1989. Crowe died Oct. 18 at the age of 82.
