That old stove and I have been together for 30 years..
It’s a little beat up, but I sure do love it!
The sky is so dark right now, it almost looks like night time..

Well, when it goes dark you know for a fact you’re in for it.

We are alike in that respect - our monsoon season is like that. The thunderheads build, the skies go dark, the temp drops 20 degrees in minutes, and then the winds start howling.

You’ve heard it before - make sure you have your hatches battened down and plenty of supplies laid on. Let us know how you are when you can!

Oh, forgot to mention - I need to go do a coupla chores around the house now.

Nana is at a brunch with some friends, and I told her I’d clean up a few things while she’s gone. If I don’t get off-line, I’ll never get to it! LOL!!

Not only did it sum up the character so well in a couple of minutes, but it summed up many of the actors who played the part ... or actors that played so many other parts ... or many politicians ... or lots of other people who are so full of themselves.
