It's a shame the Mr. Emerling didn't speak to those who don't like CP being on their block.
From Page 1 of the web site:
Excerpt: "Members of an antiwar group with a penchant for dramatic and faux-bloody protests in the halls of Congress have proved to be model citizens a few blocks away in their Capitol Hill town house."
Excerpt: "But Renee Howell and Ruhani Syed, who have lived near the intersection of Fifth and H streets for 14 years, described group members as calm and pleasant in the community."
Excerpt: "Doug Townsend, another neighbor whose wife sometimes participates in Code Pink protests, said he loves the group, although he doesn't always agree with its tactics."
And from Page 2, part way down, toward the end of the story, where most people don't go to:
Excerpt: In May, conservative watchdog group Judicial Watch filed a complaint with the D.C. Department of Consumer and Regulatory Affairs, charging that Code Pink's activities at the R-4-zoned property flout city regulations."
Excerpt: "They're operating a business," said Mr. Taylor, who has helped organize protests in front of the home on Wednesday nights. "They're having anywhere from 20 to 30 people staying there any given week by their own statements."

“News” reporting has gotten so partisan that I bypass page one of almost any article and look for the true statements to be made in the last two paragraphs. It seems that writers or editors still believe in CYA, but do not believe that facts belong in the first ten-fifteen paragraphs.
They did a good job of ignoring the story.
What a sickening puff piece.
Did they interview any of the neighbors that disagree with Code Pink in their first 10 paragraphs?
The Washington Times is just another crap paper.
