2 Men Accused of Kidnapping, Sexually Assaulting French Teen in United Arab Emirates

DUBAI, United Arab Emirates — Two Emirati men are accused of sexually assaulting a 15-year-old French teen, a case that has raised questions about the protection of foreigners and the fairness of a legal system where male rape does not exist as a crime. The defendants — aged 35 and 18 — briefly appeared in court Wednesday where one was appointed a new lawyer. The other defendant's attorney did not appear in court for the hearing, which lasted a few minutes. The two are accused of kidnapping two French teens and sexually assaulting one of them in July. A third defendant, also accused of taking part in the assault and also Emirati, is being tried in a juvenile court where the proceedings are closed to the public. Last week, the two adult defendants pleaded not guilty to charges of kidnapping with deceit and illicit sexual intercourse. According to court documents, the 35-year-old defendant has been identified as HIV positive.

Dubai remains largely hostile to homosexuality. The UAE legal system does not recognize rape of men as a crime, only rape of women, although prosecutors can bring other charges in the case of a sexual assault against a man, as they have in the French teenager's case. The teenager and his family have told French newspapers and Web sites that Dubai authorities tried to discourage them from pressing charges in the case, and also failed to tell them that one defendant had tested HIV positive. The French newspaper Liberation quoted the victim's family as saying police also tried to force the teen to say he was a homosexual, immediately after the attack. He now lives in Switzerland.

Gee, if there isn't a crime statute for rape, male or otherwise, why are these guys on trial?

Do you mean there is no criminal punishment for male rape in the US, or that men get raped in the US and no one gives a damn?

The UAE legal system does not recognize rape of men as a crime

Because they consider it to be normal behavior.

Do you know why homosexual rape doesn’t exist as a crime in muslim countries? Because they don’t consider the rapist to be a homosexual. Only the person on the receiving end is considered to be homosexual. Remember paradise holds 100 virgins for the lucky arab male, 74 female and 26 young boys.

The answer to this might be to require foreign teenage boys to where burkhas, so the arab men won't be tempted.

They aren’t charged with rape, they are charged with illicit sexual intercouse, which is simply sex with someone you aren’t married to.

People act in accordance with their character. This is absolutely no surprise. A savage who lives in an oil-rich country is still a savage.

you asked, “if there isn’t a crime statute for rape, male or otherwise, why are these guys on trial?”

if you read further, you’d have an answer to your question.

Can’t remember the names or if it was in Tennessee or Kentucky but there was a horrific case not long ago of black men kidnapping, raping and killing a young white couple.

No, I am not talking about the whacking Islamic laws.

Sexuality of muslim men (this is from first hand observations):

1. “Men and boys are for pleasure and women are for (male) babies.”
2. It is not homosexual activity if you are the “pitcher” or the one “penetrating.”
3. Non-muslim women are all whores and prostitutes
4. Sex with non-muslim women doesn’t count (as cheating) because they are infidels
5. If a muslim women is raped, it is her fault (she should have fought back harder)
6. It is OK to marry 13 year olds and have up to 4 wives. It is OK to divorce a wife once she gets too old and add a younger bride to your “stable”
7. It is OK to “marry” a muslim woman, have sex with her and them divorce her - it is called a “pleasure marriage” or temporary marriage (or sigha). The local Mullah gets a cut of the cost of the marriage. He actually is the pimp.

This is their mindset. The quicker you understand this the better you will comprehend their bizarre behavior...

Now if male rape doesn’t exist as a crime - think it goes on allot?

Might it even happen in Iran ?

Although President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad of Iran denies this er, “ phenomenon” ?

Did Ahmadinejad tell a fib?

It appears to me, it’s a “phenomenon” that knows no boundaries.

I think that your point while correct is so alien to most Americans as to prevent it from sinking in..

Sexually assaulting young boys, especially non Muslim boys is common place throughout the Muslim world.

These really are some sickos. The American People have just not been able to come to terms with the truth of it. They just cannot yet collectively accept such evil being common place in Islam. If they do they will be forced to act to stop it.. and that means sacrifices the American People especially our leaders are as of yet unwilling to make.
