Yes! That’s been the stark difference in the GOP and Dem presidential candidates as well. At the Republican debate, almost all our guys displayed a sense of good humor that is so attractive in smart men, while at the Dem debates, there is anger, desperation, and a general sense of unhappy “ick”. I’d rather have ANY of our guys running the country (except the libertarian running as a pubbie) over ANY of the Dems, any day.

I guess I just have a soft spot for a good sense of humor.

Do you remember on the day of the inauguration in 2005 that the VP and his wife were on Imus show and she presented Imus with some Pork chops because the VP had been referred to as Pork Chop Boy.

I think Dick Cheney’s sense of humour is totally ignored by the press because it does not fit their portrayal of him to admit he is probably one of the funniest politicians who is great at a comedy routine would completely destroy the imagine they have carefully carved out over the last few years.
