I read the indictment...Appears to be a massive paper trail of evidence, indicating lots of corruption and improprieties.
I’d bet Carona will resign, and will be prosecuted and found guilty of at least some of the charges listed in the indictment. Way too much there.
20,000? and they put up what 10%. Symbolism. But where can a sheriff hide?

His attorney said the Sheriff was not happy about being handcuffed and put in shackles...I can only imagine....

This is my sheriff and I’m not proud.
I’m not saying his guilty, just saying there is a lot in the indictment, and would appear they have lengthy paper trail of evidence. IMO, I don’t think he’ll walk from this.
I really don’t want to say he’s guilty either, but I have a sinking feeling about this and it’s based on something that goes beyond the headlines.
i think it means as opposed to being released without bail in their own recognizance.
