Troop & Mission Support Opportunity

Calling Colorado Eagles to Greeley on Saturday Nov. 3rd from 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 noon

Dale and Debbie Parrish have permits to assemble on the four corners of the intersection of 29th St. and 23th Ave. (west entrance of Greeley Mall yahoo map) for the next few Saturdays to show support for our Troops and the Mission. They have invited all like-minded people, including the Colorado GOE, "We have plenty of flags and signs for this or bring your own". so bring any posters, banners or flags and join them for 1 hour on one of these corners.

The specifics for the subsequent weeks will be posted later but this Saturday mtngrandma and mtngrandpa will be there proud to stand with these Blue Star parents showing our appreciation for the sacrifices our military are making on our behalf. We believe they have earned the right to achieve Victory.

Please join us if you can spare part of your Saturday morning. If you are local to Greeley and want to stand only 15 minutes on your way to the mall close to this intersection you are sincerely welcome to do that also. This is not a counter protest so your children are welcome too.

I’d check into the necessity of permits, since we do a rally each week here in Los Angeles (Studio City) and don’t need a permit. There are only particular circumstances that necessitate the pulling of a permit.

Greeley requires permits for groups more then 4 people I would hope we can get more then that for this. Last weekend we took all the air out of the big protest because the local University of Northern Colorado paper had to come down and interview us just for being there to present another view point, so it was a win for us and a loss of all the press they would have gotten.

Regardless of your numbers I hope that you will go beyond the next few weeks. Remember that it is quality versus quantity. We are down to 2-3 people, but are commited for the long run. We’ve been there for four years or so. The moonbats have 20-30, but their numbers though dwindling will rise as we get closer to the election.

I know it gets cold in Greeley, but take heart. Go into the archives of the FReep at Walter Reed where those folks chip ice and shovel snow from the sidewalk. They get out a table with pizza and hot drinks! They are an inspiration for us out here on the Left Coast!
