Should this unfortunately take place, the people will choose such men as think as they do themselves.

Clearly those conservatives who endorse Romney feel he qualifies under the second conditions advocated by one of the most heroic and greatest of our Founding Father's. Notwithstanding his religion but by good conduct and virtue.
