The last time the Americans were on the battlefield with the Egyptians, they were fighting on the same side (first Gulf War). At that point, the American tankers were glad to see that the Egyptians had decent equipment.

I can’t see any scenario where American tanks would face the Egyptians. So the only risk would be a transfer from the Egyptians to terrorists. And as I noted, there are better weapons for terrorists to use than TOWs.
