The chief of the “3rd-party” leaders have said they think Romney would be OK. Maybe they wouldn’t bring all of the guys with them, but enough to avoid a 3rd party.

If Romney is the nominee, there will NOT be a 3rd-party of social conservatives.

There most certainly will. Folks like me, and there are more than a few, will not be part of a national party led by Mitt Romney.

We have no "chief." Sorry. You might buy off a few "leaders," but the vast bulk of Christian conservatives are not going to be fooled by the liar from Massachusetts, ever.
