I think it is wrong when people get into a debate over who and who is not Christian. In my opnion, the ones who like to be offensive and tell others they aren’t Christian these people are usually the last ones who would be Christian because they have the wrong focus.

Likewise...

I think it is wrong when people get into a debate over who and who is not MORMON. In my opnion, the ones who like to be offensive and tell others they aren’t MORMON these people are usually the last ones who would be MORMON because they have the wrong focus.

(Like them Colorado City folks who ain't MORMON or them wishy-washy EX-RLDS folks who NEVER had the blessing the SLC branch has had!)

First, the CHURCH is a legal organization, and organizations such as the US of A have the right to police their members, and kick out those who don't belong (or are you saying we shouldn't be able to send illegal aliens back home...). The Mormon church is a creation of this world, organized, legally in the USA and exists to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ, which is not of this earth. We can and must control who our membership is to have a coherent message, much like the Catholics Excommunicate those who are unrepentant and living in Gross sins to protect the church.

There are many who no longer live the tenets of the Gospel as taught by the church. As long as they don't go public, or teach false doctrine at BYU, or start an opposition group to the church, we mostly just try to get them to come back. But for example there was a pro abortion group that went public as Mormons who support abortion who were all excommunicated. I think we should and do have that legal right. What no one but Jesus has is the right to say if someone believes on him. You need to repent of you smug assumption that you somehow have obtained that right.
