Do you really think that "excess babies" are the reason for child labor, sex slavery, and the like? I.e. people are just animals and can't control their appetites--is that what you're saying? If you really want to know what is wrong in India, what creates situations like this sweatshop, you might read a book by an actual Indian, such as The Quest for Freedom & Dignity: Caste, Conversion & Cultural Revolution by Vishal Mangalwadi.
