Simply the fact that they repeatedly point out that the man is chinese and call him Chiney, makes them be a racist society.

They don't call him Chinkey which would be much more offensive LOL.

People give other people nicknames for two reasons: Either they hate them deeply, or like them a lot. Here, it doesn’t seem like a case of hate.
