BOOK HERALDS LAUNCH OF ROGER'S NEW NATIONAL SATURDAY SYNDICATED RADIO SHOW!!
For years (nearly 22 years to be exact) Roger's listeners have been asking, "when are you going national?" Mostly Roger replied that he was quite content to be the Radio Mayor of Southern California.
But times have changed.
Perhaps it was the Bush administrations refusal to secure our borders. Perhaps it was the imprisonment of three Border Patrol Agents and an Edwards County, Texas Deputy Sheriff for doing their sworn duty.
Maybe it was democrats seeking surrender in Iraq and their disrespect for our men and women in combat.
Or it might have been the continual erosion of our national heritage and debasement of our U.S. Constitution.
Could have been something as simple as a judge deciding that a smelt fish was more important than water for human beings.
Whatever. Roger has decided that his voice has national value and can be used to energize talk radio America to meet the challenges of 2008 and beyond.
Roger's Saturday show will be heard across America and will be a call to action. It will be a good listen but it will also encourage us to get involved, get smart, vote and participate in the salvation of America. The broadcast will air 9a - 12p Pacific.
Citizen activism has been the hallmark of Roger's local show on KOGO Radio in San Diego from Light Up The Border to Hold Their Feet To the Fire to Saving Our Cross. That same energy will now spark listeners to become involved in large cities and small towns across America.
We'll soon publish a list of stations that will carry the New Roger Hedgecock National Show...KOGO will be his flagship station...we hope to reach every corner of this great nation. America really does need us to roll up our sleeves...most of the folks in public office are not in public service...they are in personal service. Time we took matters into our own hands.
Excellent!
KOGO is only heard in San Diego, I assume his website will list local stations that will carry him. Wish he could do something with Mark Larsen, I like Mark as well.
I can hardly wait. Sat,mornings are so dull on the talk radio circuit, either have to invest in something or fertilizer and water it..however I am sorry to hear that Rush will no longer be using Roger, since he is going national... Roger was mentioning the other day on his show..that Rush no longer needed him to fill in
so he’s going head to head against Rush? That’s gratitude for him.
He’s on Saturdays. Rush isn’t.
Well, yeah, if Hedgecock is going national, then that fill-in spot can be used to highlight another non-national talent.
Isn’t that what it’s suppose to do?
Check it out at KOGO Radio Online.
Hopefully he’ll replace Colmbs on my local am. The lineup is Laura, Rush, Sean, Mark Lavin, then Colmbs. I can’t imagine he has more that 4 listeners.
Colmes did have 1 listener the other night... clicked the wrong streamlink ... and wow! Such Whining I haven’t heard since my daughter was about 3!!
After a shower with a good antibacterial soap... I was otherwise unharmed!
Absolutely unlistenable. BTW I apparently butchered his name. Colmes.
Great news. He’s my favorite fill-in guest host for Rush.
Yeah, that’s my point. But phrasing it the way you did made it sound as if Rush told Hedgecock to take a long walk off a short pier.
Not me, you’re confused with another post, I only thought the website will tell us local stations.
Oh, sorry about that. For a second there, I thought you had written #4. Whoops.
To be honest the last several times Roger filled in he was not up to par and Rush started using the guy from Minisoda who I think is better!
Did you know Mark Larson is on in the mornings now?
Come on....Hedgecock isn’t Joan Rivers! Unlike Rush, Hedgecock has held elected office....he’s worked inside government. AND he’s far more knowledgeable about the most populous State’s politics.
Also, Rush compliments himself more than the AirAmerika headcases.
Spelling doesn’t matter ... lib is lib no matter how it’s spelled or is it SpelT!
