As for me I would rather see her go to a real doctor and get something for what ever ails her. Smoking dope is a cop out. You are now going to tell me that her dope helps her but all the medical science in existence can’t ease her pain. Get real. Dope is dope. I’d be willing to bet you that if a Doctor told one of these pot heads that they had a marijuana pill that they could swallow, they would turn it down and say that they have to smoke it or it wont help them.

How much you willing to put up?

(Though I want to clarify "these pot heads"...if you are referring to those who have already committed suicide rather than endure their misery, then no bet. If you're talking about any of the people I know who often say, "I wish there were just a pill that would do this and I could get it covered on insurance and not worry about the DEA," then you're on!)

I take it you don't have many dealings with people who are disabled or terminally ill. Or psychiatrists. If you did, I think you'd not have posted what you did.

Note that even with the laundry list of pharmaceutical anti-depressants we have (and effective therapy techniques like CBT), about 15% of patients with clinical depression don't find relief. But guess what...there might be a link with Omega-3 that gives some relief to these treatment-resistant sufferers. If Omega-3 supplements were banned, these fokks couldn't just go to a doc and say, "fix me!"

I really do not care if grass is made legal or not. But one thing I am sure is if it is ever legalized every non-working moron with a phony back injury that allows them to collect monthly disability will be expecting us to pay for thier pot.

Montel Williams can afford the best care available, but he uses marijuana for the nerve pain caused by his MS.

Doctors don't have all the answers and most pain medications are highly addictive.

All the ‘medical science in the world’ tends to perscribe opiate related derivities for pain relief.

But I guess opiates aren’t ‘dope.’

You seem to be a great posterchild for the latter half of your tagline! Nice pick.
