This is not how it works, ever. This is not a national race, it is a series of state races. National polls mean nothing at this point except name recognition among those not paying much attention to the candidates or the races.

When people in Iowa realize they are wasting their votes on Romney, a candidate who is in 5th place nationally (behind Huckabee!!), he will fade. People are not going to trudge through knee deep snow to vote for a sure loser. I realize the truth hurts.
