In the cramped board room before last weeks Carrollton City Council meeting, Mayor Becky Miller opened discussion on a serious note. She asked the seven council members to remove a Carrollton resident from their list of appointed boards, saying that she would be very embarrassed to have him serve the city.
Against Millers will, Paul Kramer, a Carrollton resident who ran for city council in December 2006, was appointed to the Construction Advisory and Appeals Board.
Kramers appointment came two days after he was pictured in The Dallas Morning News protesting Muslim Family Day at Six Flags Over Texas. Three board members did not want him to be appointed as a city representative, but the motion was overturned by a 4-3 vote.

I think it would be prudent to wait....until teir donees cut off your head and blow you up, THEN you can protest their actions.
case closed, next case please.
That’s what the left does. It suppresses opposing voices.
Thanks for letting me know where my family of 6 isn't going to waste my money this summer.
Dear Becky(how precious!):
Here is what Mr. Kramer is protesting.

“Mayor Becky”?
That’s what you get, I guess...
Let’s see. That Minuteman town official gets in trouble. This board member gets in trouble for protesting Muslim Family Day. First they shut religious people out of the government operations, now it’s conservatives who dare to state their views on their own time. This is apparently the new tactic for protecting liberals from pesky non-liberals. Just say you’d be embarrassed to serve with someone or have that person on your city officials directory and, voila, problem is gone.
Cities seem to be leading the way here to capitulate to servitude. They are passing idiotic resolutions against the war or supporting global warming. They are protecting the rights of Code Pink, Westboro Church, abortionists, pornographers, and such and throwing every possible obstruction against conservatives’ right to be heard or serve.
Perhaps we all better pay more attention to local elections. I have always been bothered by these so-called “nonpartisan” elections, especially when the election winner start acting very partisan the moment they get in office. We can’t get far is we gain national office while losing the locals.
'nuff said.
Would they have also offered a Catholic Day, Jewish Day etc. without being deemed racist?
I was with you until you insulted Jabba by comparing him to that ditzy mayor!
I've boycotted it since I was young.
Haunted Castle at Six Flags Great Adventure was a haunted house attraction at Six Flags Great Adventure amusement park in Jackson Township, New Jersey. On May 11, 1984, eight teenage visitors were trapped and killed when the structure was destroyed by fire. Six Flags Great Adventure and its parent company Six Flags were subsequently indicted for aggravated manslaughter, accused of recklessly causing the deaths by taking inadequate precautions against a fire. In the subsequent trial, the prosecution argued that repeated warnings by safety consultants to install sprinklers or smoke alarms had been ignored. The defendants denied any culpability, and contended that the fire was arson and that no precautions would have saved lives. The trial jury found the defendants not guilty.
It has always left a bad feeling for me as it was a big deal where I live. I truly think the thing was unsafe. I feel the whole Park is unsafe & we've had more deaths since then too.
Kramer said he is glad to be able to serve the city, but that he wont stop acting upon his personal beliefs. I hope he sticks to his beliefs. If he believes what he is doing is right & just then I commend him. I don't see them having days for other faiths.
bttt your post
Becky Miller exhibits the sort of dhimmitude which will see future generations of Americans bowing to Mecca.
