I have met Senator Brownback. He is not stupid. I didn't say he was unintelligent; I said he was stupid. There is a difference. I know he has held a very pro-life position, but to even think that Rudy Giuliani might have become pro-life is absurd. What has Rudy evr said that would lead anyone to believe he has changed?

These endorsements are stupid anyway. I've never yet found or heard of anyone who switched to the endorsee because the endorser who they had supported made an endorsement.
This is one of those stupid holdover things from the old brokered conventions that we haven't had in the last forty years. And yet, people still rant about getting endorsements from failed candidates as though they mean anything at all.

Why do you call Brownback “venal?” Do you have specific knowledge of specific venality on his part? Brownback's stance on illegal immigration appears to be borne of heavy campaign contributions from meat packers in West Kansas.
His most recent proposal -- a formal apology from the U.S. Senate to American blacks for slavery -- is borne of a failed campaign's pandering.
These are the errors of a weak personality -- one that can be bought. And tries to sell himself and his vote to another constituency.
For all his claims to be a Christian Conservative candidate, I believe Brownback is a Senator for sale.
