ABC News Sunlen Miller Reports: How Does an Obama-Gore Ticket Sound? Don't Hold Your Breath.
Democratic Senator of Illinois Barack Obama put to bed that question from a voter who donned a t-shirt reading, "Obama and Gore: Experience and Youth, Obama and Gore: Wisdom and Truth."
The supporter asked the '08 presidential hopeful if he would consider taking "the wind out of Hillarys sails" by asking Nobel prize winner former Vice President Al Gore to be his running mate before the primaries.
"I can promise you that as president I will have him involved in our administration in a very senior capacity in his role," Obama responded that, "having won the Nobel peach prize and an Oscar that being Vice President again would be probably a step down for him."

would that be a Gorobasm?
Obama who? This is what people will be saying this time next year. He’s made too many faux-pas thus far. Won’t be a serious candidate, IMHO.
Don’t the 20th and 22nd Amendments have something to say about it?
he won the nobel PEACH prize too?!
is there no stopping al gore and the effects of global warming...
teeman
That would be a GORey OBAMAnation.....
I think ABC needs a spell checker, but the labeling of what Gore won is fairly accurate even if the spelling is wrong.
this is the worrisome part:
“I can promise you that as president I will have him involved in our administration in a very senior capacity in his role
The Nobel peach prize? How fruity.
Hey teeman. Great minds think alike. I just type slow.
LOL - we need a screen shot before they change it!

I’m in Iowa and rec’d a telephone poll about this last night. The choices were ‘Hillary and a southern male’ and ‘Obama and Gore.’ I wanted to play along, but the poll was so poorly worded I thought it was useless as a questionnaire and hung up.
I teach reasearch methods at the graduate level. I know what a well-worded survey, one providing the respondant with a range of choices, should look like, and this wasn’t it.
I don’t know which pairing was more funny - Hillary and a southern male or Obama and Gore. Too bad the Dims can’t develop a valid instrument, it might have been fun.
I think I can see clinton/gore, with obama maybe as the chauffuer. He can wear a headpiece then.
Obamanbearpig - da winnnner!
****having won the Nobel peach prize***
That’s the pits!
LOL
pinging you to hilarious “peach” instead of “peace” before ABC corrects it
