Anti-War Film Endorsed by Redskins Owner/Republican Donor

Dan Snyder is supporting Robert Redford’s eloquent anti-war film, "Lions for Lambs." The owner of the Washington Redskins, a heavy Republican donor and business partner of an even bigger one, Snyder sent this column an endorsement on Saturday. Snyder's PR guy, Karl Swanson, forwarded this e-mail to FOXNews.com:

"'Lions for Lambs' causes Snyder no 'uneasy moments,'" Snyder wrote in reaction to a column I wrote here on Friday. Dan Snyder "and a group of friends screened it 10 days ago and he found the film engaging and intelligent and the performances riveting."

The fact that Snyder — a major donor to and fan of former Maryland Lt. Gov. Michael Steele — continues to endorse "Lions for Lambs" is major for Redford and producers Paula Wagner and Tom Cruise.

I've been boycotting certain actors, directors, and producers in Hollywood for sometime. But, this is it for me, I'm done with the idiots in the movie industry altogether.

There is more good going on in the war than bad, and yet all we get is anti-war anti-American propaganda from the entertainment industry.

Joseph Goebbels would be proud.

The latest I heard was that Bin Laden has admitted that "mistakes were made" in Iraq. It seems that Al Qaeda was too heavy handed with its treatment of the citizens. Oh my, really? And "mistakes were made?" LOL!

I am just so sure the MSM will be all over THAT!

"Lions for Lambs" asks questions that not only deserve to be asked, but heard. When the film opens, the debate will begin. That’s more American than anything I can think of.

You mean the same debate that's been going on since 2002? I think pretty much everyone knows where they stand on this one.

The old "WWII only lasted 4 years" crap. Were we allowed to level cities the way we did then, this would have been over by now.

I’ve come to realize that these “activist actors” are only doing these causes to get attention and overshadow their weak acting abilities. Take Robert Redford (here is my review of his movies that I have seen):

Movie - My Rating
The Last Castle (2001) SUCKED
The Horse Whisperer (1998) BORING
Indecent Proposal (1993) OK - But due to him
Sneakers (1992) Too political and Boring
Legal Eagles (1986) Preachy / Boring at times
Out of Africa (1985) Real Snoozer

He might have done something good before 1985 - That would make him a “has been”.

He’s against war, she’s against war - we’re all against war - except al Qaeda, North Korea, China, Russia, Syria, Hezbollah, the PLO and I’madinnerjacket.

It wasn’t Bush’s idea, folks. We wuz mindin’ our own business on September eleven, two-thousand and one.

Let’s keep the facts straight and clear, O.K.? And lets finish what they started. And lets deal with the traitors in our own midst.

“World War II lasted less than five years,”

The day Redford plays this film straight is the day he openly calls himself an a hypocritical environmental loon.

Let me know when there is a draft, Dresden, A-Bombs, D-Day, pretty much ignoring collateral damage all together and maybe people who see through this crap called ‘Lions for Lambs’ won’t have their intelligence insulted.

Just masturbation material for the self righteous ignoramuses who cry out “blood for oil”, “Bush’s fault”, “Why can’t we be friends”, “War what is it good for”, “Iraq is a failure” etc...

Somehow for being so antiwar R. Redford sure makes a lot of bombs.

I fully expect this excrement to qualify as well.

Why should I care what “Danny Boy” Snyder thinks?
Becasue he is a wildly successful businessman?
Becasue he owns the Redskins?
Because he has money that he throws to the GOP?

Pray tell? Why?
