Gramma, you and I have been here a long time - as you well know, there's always gotta be some a**hole on every disaster thread, blaming everybody who lives there for what's happening. I guess we should be used to it by now, but it still eats at the craw.

Ignorant, disturbing comments such as the one you responded to, are difficult to deal with...

In just the past two days, I’ve seen many comments here hoping for death and destruction, or implying all these Americans deserve everything they get.

I find it very disturbing when Americans treat other Americans like an enemy that needs to be destroyed.

The bizarre behavior and thought process some are exhibiting here is down right alarming.

My apology, I've not had the best of days and black dog mood I share with Winston Churchill has had me in its grip lately. I just find it hard to watch the way of life I was born to in 1947 completely disappear right before my eye. Every morning brings something new that flies in the face of the common sense I was raised with and at times, it is almost more than I can bear--
