I suppose from that perspective it makes sense...somewhat.

Trust me, I read it all. I read it again and came to the same conclusion. Furthermore, I think George W. Bush has been one of the best presidents our nation has ever had and I thank God everyday that he was president when our nation was attacked. He is not perfect....no one is perfect. I hope you can get through your “holier than thou” attitude and come down to earth with the rest of us before our nation is lost to socialism forever.

The other day someone posted some of his past comments and it was a real eye opener for me.
I dont know if hes had his Romney moment or what, but this doesnt strike me as consistant on the subject.
IIRC, Ronald Reagan was a Dem early on .... and we know where he ended up.

Like I’ve said to others, I’m not going to try to force my opinions on them or you.
If you see it different than I do, that’s okay.
I appreciate your comments.

I watched the pre-show. I had a feeling that was you. I think you said Hillary was a ‘’Communist socialist’’, or a ‘’socialist-communist’’,,,,,,,either way you were so right on!,,,,,It was great.,,,. Also it was fantastic that someone finally brought up the day in ,day out constant demonizing of Republicans. Its non stop and I am sick of to death of it as well.Someone needs to combat the RATS lies that we throw old lady's down stairs and drag minority's from cars. It’s disgusting and vicious and the RATS always seem to ramp up their hateful rhetoric around election time. I think the candidates must have heard you too cause they all seem to have stepped up last night. Thanks again, you were great!

That is true. That process took a considerable amount of time to become complete though. I’m not real confortable with a guy making one series of comments and then a few years later professing a diametrically opposed position.

Hillary is looking to make a political payoff. The million dollars of taxpayer money is for a Woodstock museum.
It’s for the children. You can’t say no.
It was a home run citation to slam her to smithereens. And someone on McCain’s staff wrote him a good line on it.

Some folks will never understand. You can disagree with Rudy on issues such as abortion, immigration, etc. but you will probably not understand that Rudy almost singlehandedly destroyed the liberal power base in NYC across the board.
From the NY Slimes to the mob unions to the teachers to the one party socialist politicians. And they hate his guts for it.

Me neither, but Huckabee seems to have seen the light, and in my eyes, appears to possess more Conservative values than any of the other candidates.

That was neat you had this chance to be part of a great debate . Look, Rudy , according now to Fox and Ras. can indeed beat the Hildabeast. The poll was just released. I thought John , Mike , Mitt, and even Fred did a good job but Rudy was far more witty, concise and strong. That will mean things to real primary voters not just Freepers or forum bloggers. I know one thing, Mike should be the GOP VP choice and Duncan should be Secdef or Secstate.

Thank you for your response. I do totally disagree with the direction the party seems to be going, and especially the media, including FNS. I strongly feel there is a movement to cast aside conservatives.
The ONLY news media candidate choice I will even consider voting for, is Thompson. And then I think he would increase his chances were he to ask Hunter run as VP. IF Hunter were to not get the nomination.
I think it is a sad commentary on our Nation, that the best candidates are ignored, and the money is all that talks. That and polls. The thing about the money part, it is like buying the office, and that is wrong on so many levels. It also says only the rich can run for office. Polls, who here has EVER been polled on these issues? The take small numbers and assume it means a representation of that district, state, or whatever. And it doesn’t. If polls were an accurate reading Kerry would be our President.

Yep. We all said the same thing last night. I am very interested to see what Luntz will be airing from last night on Hannity and Colmes tonight.
To: gidget7
Hillary is out and out bribing people for votes. Saying all kids born will get bank accounts with what was it? 5k? 10K? To use when they turn 18? It will gain interest etc...who in the hell is going to pay for that?!?!
To: phillyfanatic
Not me.
My Favorite Headache got to participate.
I haven’t even watched it.
