Only thing I remember about 1991 is going to elementary school and playing on the play ground. I have to do some more research on the Fair Tax and other tax systems and thanks for your answers. I am not going to give up on Duncan Hunter!!!!!!!!!!
1991 was the luxury tax year.
Legal work arounds were developed that eliminated the need to pay the luxury tax. It resulted in offshoring most all the private boat sales.
Many of those methods are still in use today to eliminate paying the FL sales tax on luxury boats.
