How did Ron Paul win the poll if there are more of us than him?
A lot of his supporters are young people, primarily cell phone users. So they don't get polled by traditional pollsters. So RP is probably at 6%-8% if the pollsters called cell phones. So he's undermeasured on regular polls. Among older people, RP supporters are similar to the old Perot supporters in that many of them are cynical about politics and don't always vote so they don't make the list for "likely primary voters". But if you excite those folks, they turn out to vote and can surprise you. The state where this can happen is in the Live Free Or Die state, New Hampshire.
And his young cellphone-wielding supporters have far more SMS-capable phones and know how to text-message, unlike many older folks who don't text. But, most importantly, every last Ron Paul supporter was watching and waiting to dial. And they might even borrow a roommate's phone, a girlfriend's phone and register an extra vote or two that way.
RP supporters are intensely interested in showing public support. They're a great bunch of kids too. And they'll vote liberal if someone doesn't take the time to give them a good message on liberty and small-government. So Ron Paul is doing the future of the party a lot of good, something he gets little credit for.

I still think that some Dems are watching, and who else would they vote for?

Ron Paul is a joke as well as the HilaryCare campaign to promote him in conservative blogs. Do you want President Bush Impeached??

You know, I live in Austin, arguably Ron Paul’s ideological fortress, and I drive quite a few miles everyday. I see RP people putting up RP signs, but I don’t see drivers sporting RP bumper stickers. I might see one per day. Mostly you see Edwards or Obama stickers.
