Hunter is the best man IMO. I like his pro-life stance. I like his immigration stance. I like his trade stance. He made some quips in the interview that I hadn’t heard any candidate touch on before, and he used the exact phrases I do to address them. It was wierd hearing someone echo your own thoughts to the degree this guy did.
“Trust your God...and have a lot of ammo stockpiled.”
And learn how to shoot straight. No sense wasting ammo.
You're right about Rudy. But wrong about Romney. And that's fine. There's a lot of people who have been mislead on the matter. But it is the way that you present that disagreement. Judy? Mittwit? BS meter? Questioning my conservatism? Come on, you know that you're capable of a little more maturity and civility than that.
What up with Mitt’s hair tonight? Chris Wallace was very haughty tonight and so was Carl Cameron.
I already did. There appears to be a good ol' boy network of eastern, nominal Catholics at Fox News' soft news programs and weaknesses threof would seem to show up in:
Hannity's support of Giuliani
O'Reilly's and Cavuto's programs (and the overall M.O. of Fox News) to show soft porn images repeatedly, at the drop of a hat -- or skirt.
General philosophical stances and conflictedness in cultural issues (we don't want the left, but we don't like to declare the actual standards and live by them).
If there seemed to be an old boy network of Mississippi Pentecostals, they would have different idiosyncracies, I'm sure, but the topic was Hannity's very unfortunate support of Giuliani -- and I added the infamous semi-naked women matter that Fox News has been scolded for, repeatetdly, but folks including Laura Ingraham (and me, here).
But, if you want to read something else into what I wrote, I won't stop you. :-|
Neither one is a conservative. I don’t have any ideal what your are other than a miss guided individual.
Suits me!! He’s such a waste of time....
Rudy is a closet leftist. Sorry, but that’s the straight shot on that IMO. As for Romney, I think he and Rudy are running for the wrong party. They’d both make truly moderate to leftist democrats.
Rudy talks a good talk, but he denies nothing. Then Romney spins his history. I’m just not buying into these guys.
Thompson is a good man. What else could Rudy say other than mention torte reform. Thompson cut his knees out from under him with his response.
Hunter is the man. Thompson may be who we have to settle for, but that isn’t a bad thing IMO. Thompson is a good man.
Now the idiot dems think RP can do what RP did. I don't think so. This will not even be an issue.
He seems to know alot about the RP phony text network doesn’t he. Bet he knows alot more about that network than he lets on.
Most Repubs can care less about those phony polls, but which Party really cares about polls??

There’s quite a following here who likes Hunter. I think he’s by far the best candidate. He’s a solid conservative, a fairly good-looking individual, and has no real blemishes on his record. Unfortunately, in my experience, those sorts of guys never get a real shot. It’s frustrating because like you, Hunter seems to think and talk exactly like I do. Wouldn’t it be nice to have a guy like that?
I’m a political cynic because of things like this. You almost never get *your* guy. You get somebody from your party (or the party most closely aligned with your views) and you need to support them.
I agree. Hunter and Thompson both come across to me as very honest.
I just feel like Mitt and Rudy are spinning whatever they thinks will work to get them votes.
Hey! Address me when speaking of my posts you cretin! :^P
RP could become Ross Perot if it wasn’t for RP. Too bad HilaryCare.

Hypocrisy is everywhere. Neither Catholics nor Mississippi Pentecostals have a monopoly. You skate on thin rhetorical ice when you start attributing a specific failing to any religious group.
It was later acknowledged that Perot had direct contact with the Clinton campaign. In fact after he pulled out, he went back in at the Clinton’s request.
Ross Perot handed Clinton the Presidency. If I remember accurately, Clinton only got 43% of the vote in 1992.
He absolutely is. It pains me to see him relegated to the role of “China policy” niche candidate. Having Guiliani at the top of the first-tier and Hunter near the bottom of the second-tier is just shameful.
My hope at this point is that Romney overtakes Guiliani and chooses Hunter as his running mate. It’s not a perfect scenario, but it’s something I can live with.
That’s my take as well.
There is nothing cliche about the sanctity of life.
