They were reporting winds have slowed down to 28 MPH in many places which is less than what they were.

Local tv coverage is off for now, but the only thing the 11:00 news reported that you guys haven’t already mentioned is that military families at Camp Pendleton have been told to prepare to evacuate (has anyone else heard this?) and downed power lines across the I-15 have closed the road completely until at least 6 am. All the small roads through the mountains south of 138 are already closed. Thousands of cars are backed up north of DeVore in winds so strong they are knocking over 18 wheelers that aren’t moving! The 14 is also closed, which leaves I-5 as the only northbound road still open. If they evacuate Oceanside/Pendleton that’s a lot of people using the same freeway.
