"I speak for at least half the people here, including the Founder Jim Robinson, who has stated he will not vote for Giuliani under any circumstance."
Agree.
Don't Cut and Run, vote pro-life every time. It's the way you always win.
We cannot diminish the value of one category of human life the unborn without diminishing the value of all human life. Ronald Reagan
...precisely what he will get if he DOES vote for Rudy.
“Its not a crapshoot for either one, unless you are blindingly naive.”
You have convinced yourself that everything Rudy Guiliani says is a lie. Therefore it is pointless to debate you rationally. Just make sure, when you don’t vote for Rudy if he is the Pub candidate, and a Dem gets in, that you wash your hands every night while repeating “out damned spot”, that’s assuming you know your Shakespeare.
A very childish attempt to shame people into voting for an abortionist because he has an R behind his name. A Giuliani presidency would be much worse, since it would signal the end to the Republican party as a conservative party. It would be much more desirable to stand on the principles that have been the foundation of the Conservative party rather then succumb to the expediency of voting for a candidate that makes a mockery of conservative principles.
BS. Giuliani said Ginsberg was a “smart lawyer.”
His past appointmenst don't follow that mold at all.
A Politico review of the 75 judges Giuliani appointed to three of New York state's lower courts found that Democrats outnumbered Republicans by more than 8 to 1. One of his appointments was an officer of the International Association of Lesbian and Gay Judges. Another ruled that the state law banning liquor sales on Sundays was unconstitutional because it was insufficiently secular.A third, an abortion-rights supporter, later made it to the federal bench in part because New York Sen. Charles E. Schumer, a liberal Democrat, said he liked her ideology.

Your principles, in this particular situation, equal death to fetuses and increased abortions. It is an inarguable fact. Refute it if you can, which you can’t. Therefore, your not voting for Rudy will result in more deaths of fetuses under a Dem administration. So you better work real hard now in the primaries to get a candidate elected other than Rudy so that you won’t have to live with yourself if a Dem gets elected because you wouldn’t vote for him.
There is no historical evidence that the Republican party without the support of social conservatives has been anything other than a minority party in the last fifty years. Republican successes were only possible with the support and votes of the social conservatives.
While comparing and equating her with Roberts.
I lurked here for many years before I registered and have seen the scope and character of the discussions change there is good reason to show some respect FRs early members.

The only “point” I can see is the one on the black hat of a
Cauldron stirring Witch...
I could not give one little bitty DAMN about how long you or that person have been on FR or anywhere else !!! Got It ?
I’m old enough to remember when there were no abortions
for any reason,,,It’s MURDER !!!
Rudy equals Hillary on the abortion issues - so your child like attempt to equate a vote for one abortionist as saving more unborn babies than a vote for another abortionist is specious. The real issue for the social conservatives is we will not vote for the demise of the Republican party by giving Giuliani our support on any level.
Yes, as far as Roberts was qualified for the court just as Ginsberg was. Why don't you actually go and look at the context of what your saying instead of looking for some hidden meaning that simply isn't there?
I’ve already read it but unlike you I’m not interested in soft-selling it to promote some pro-abortion gungrabber.
Attorney General Meese is a man of consummate character. He served honorably as attorney general, and, unlike Rudy Giuliani, deserves significant credit for shaping the legal legacy of Ronald Reagan. Anyone who casts aspersions of the kind that Giuliani did against Meese calls his own judgment into question particularly when he is asking for us to trust that judgment in picking judicial nominees. Robert Alt is an NRO contributor.
You seem to think the left will allow the Christian right to have any power, ever. I’m wondering what it is about the attacks on the Christian right over the past decade that allows you to come to that conclusion.
Basically, I’m saying it’s bad for the republican party in general if the socons sit out, but the republican party has a CHANCE of rebuilding coalitions. The socons will be permanently irrelevant. Not a good gamble. But have at it, and continue to be gleeful about it!

In this particular instance, which is more important to you, the health of the Republican Party or the deaths of more babies under a Dem administration? You can make your point about the success of the Party, which I actually concur with. However, I would rather our wing of the party not have as conservative a leader as we would wish as opposed to trying to build our wing of the party up by teaching the less conservative wing of our party a lesson, which will cause the further deaths of innocent babies under a Dem policies administration. Which is more important to you, teaching our Party a lesson or keeping ever more abortions from taking place under a Dem gov’t?
They ARE both smart lawyers...and well-qualified for the Supreme Court. Seems like she was confirmed 96-3, guess that pinko Strom Thurmond is on the list of the Damned somewhere...
You’re promoting anti-gun pro-abortion Rudy in the wrong place, mister. Just ask Finman69.
Let us not forget that Giuliani supporters are the part of the “coalition” that is about to bring about the split of the coalition. The “socons” have been very dependable with support at the polls. The “libcons”, the liberal/Giuliani wing of the party has very little support in the party, just possibly enough to win the primaries with the conservative support split among numerous candidates. The result of a Giuliani candidacy will be a fatal split of a very successful coalition. Think permanent minority.
“Youre promoting anti-gun pro-abortion Rudy in the wrong place, mister. Just ask Finman69”
It’s not a matter of being pro or anti-Rudy. That is immaterial to the question at hand. If you will not vote for Rudy regardless of your opinion of him, if he is the Pub Party’s choice for a candidate, will you be guaranteeing the increase in deaths of fetuses that will inevitably occur under a Dem administration? That is the question. You say you want to prevent abortion, while following a philosophy that is guaranteed to increase them. And as you believe everthing Guiliani says is a lie and that he will be the same as any of the Dem candidates, then discussing this subject rationally or logically with you becomes increasingly difficult. Answer the question, will your not voting for Rudy and therefore probably guaranteeing a Dem win in the elections doom many more fetuses to early termination under Dem policies? Stay on point here.
