Unless a person has a hiding place nearby, how could you expect to get away with this?

This dummy doesn’t know about “Rule number one” as it pertains to evading the police.

Rule number one: When one attempts to escape from the police, one must have a vehicle capable of escaping the police.

If not....everything else tends to go pear shaped rather quickly.

Breaking: Tanker Truck stolen at gunpoint in Baltimore, last seen heading North on I-95

The truck is described as a 1997 Peterbilt with dark wood. On one side it says "Baltimore Tank Lines." There is also a silver trailer attached to the truck.

LOL. Now, there is some real heads-up reporting.

FWIW
Baltimore Tank Lines On September 27, 2000, a 75,000 pound Baltimore Tank Liners tanker hauling 7,000 gallons of Number 2 fuel oil crossed over the center line of Route 17 in Fauquier County, and struck the Plaintiff's car head-on. The tanker driver had taken his eyes off the road to adjust his heater. The impact crushed Ms. Smith's Volvo, leaving her trapped for 20 minutes with a head injury, broken arm, broken ankle and fractured transverse process at L1. Ms. Smith, a NICU nurse, had to undergo surgery on her arm, and developed a blood clot from the cast on her ankle. Four years after the wreck, Smith had significant cognitive and emotional impairments as a result of the wreck, including problems with attention, memory, processing speed and multi-tasking from her TBI and the PTSD that developed from the crash. Her arm, ankle and back healed well, but knee injuries she suffered developed into chondromalacia; however she received no treatment for that condition. The defense contended that her cognitive complaints were from stress, sleep problems, and pain, and could be largely cured by better treatment. Smith also returned to her job as a NICU nurse a year after the wreck, allowing the defense to argue that her cognitive complaints were modest, in view of the demands of her job. Baltimore Tank Liners agreed to a $1.25 million personal injury settlement. (Jun-30-05)
