Despite good intentions, a referendum 'the power of the electors to approve or reject statutes' simply does not prohibit the California Legislature from passing the same school sexual indoctrination bill next year, the year after, or whenever," he said. Democracy is a 24 hour a day job. It needs to be augmented the by wrath of the majority when the few elite start with mischief. The politicians are growing ever more fearless of the will of the people. Its amazing what the collectivist left has been able to accomplish against the masses of disorganized individuals in spite of all the constitutional protections on a piece of paper.

A California pro-family organization has concluded the only way to overturn the radical pro-homosexual indoctrination agenda imposed on public schools when Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger signed SB 777 which could end up banning "Mom and Dad" references in schools is through a state constitutional amendment. I hope that Gov. Schwarzenegger is not still pretending to be a Republican. Or did he just pretend to be one to get elected? California is an embarrassment to me.

If enough people take their kids out of public school, that would have the effect of a referendum, only much faster.

Nope. I pulled my son out of public school two years ago. What I’ve seen since, I have no regrets. I do think that what we’re seeing here are death throes. I feel sorry for parents who can’t take their kids out of public school, for one reason or another. My son is free to use “mom and dad” whenever he wants to, regardless what the state of CA says.

Well fine, but when you’re talking about making those kinds of changes to the state Constitution, you’re rearranging deck chairs on the Titanic.

Regardless of the fact that it only revokes one bill, it is a necessary step for the people of California to stand up for our culture.
It’ll also bring the necessary notariety that the drive-by media denied by ignoring 777

it would be best if parents would simply withdraw their children from public schools We came to that conclusion 20 years ago. Our daughter was home schooled until she went to college.

Have you chronicled your experience? Some of us out here are losing sleep over how we’re going to make the college part happen.
