Pentagon: China Gearing Up for High-Tech Warfare
I worked with a rather gifted IA tech in Iraq in 2004 who wrote programs to identify and track hackers attacking the NIPR net there. He said they were Chinese and he wrote some programs which automatically hacked them back. Once he obtained the IPs of the gateways, originating boxes and network devices he was able block them. Unfortunately, he left after his year was up.
