Senators McCain and Feingold (who did not sign the letter) are disturbed by Big Money infecting eBay and are preparing to introduce the eBay Bid Reform Act.
This is a thank you to each and everyone who took the time to fill out the form to bid on the very special auction Rush had us list.
It has now surpassed $2 million. We have actually removed everyone but a few people who are still serious players in the bidding. If you were notified by us that you could bid, please note that unless you placed a bid successfully over $150,000, your approval is no longer valid. Given the $2 million level, we are requiring many additional items such as bank statements, deposits, signed and faxed forms, copy of your IDs, as well as other proof of income.
Many of you have kindly let us know it was too high, so please excuse this extra email. We are sending it out to everyone as an autoreply.
If you ever want to learn how Auction Cause helps fundraise and sell high profile items for the nonprofit of your choice, feel free to drop us a line or email. We cannot promise you a $2 million auction like Rush, but we will try.

The whole thing is just CRAZY. Seriously. These people are bidding on an auction where the seller has a ZERO FEEDBACK LEVEL! Don’t they realize that they’re going to get ripped off? This thing screams “fraud!”

My guess is that it’s a consortium of people or companies who are bidding it up.

What about the Presidential Medal of Freedom?
President John F. Kennedy authorized the practice of awarding Presidential Medals of Freedom to persons "for especially meritorious contribution to (1) the security or national interests of the United States, or (2) world peace, or (3) cultural or other significant public or private endeavors" (Executive Order 11085 dated Feb. 22, 1963).

The dems are going to try to pass the “fairness doctrine” for sure now. They can’t let there be an opposing voice! They have got to suppress it!
With Rush's net worth and present income, he could match the price of one of these letters per month and in 200 years he would be broke.
There is no better way for Bush to tweak the left then to award Rush Limbaugh the Presidential Medal of Freedom.
