of course, because by sacrificing a person’s life you would be robbing them of their basic constitutional right of life. You cannot contridict the constitution...although the supreme court has been allowed to do it in Roe vs. Wade.

Well, that seals it for me. There is no way in (ahem) that I will vote for him, come hell or high water. I will write in my cat before I vote for him, now that he is against all I stand for.
As I've told many a co-worker, he's the beast in a better dress. Nothing else seperates the two.....

“Yet there are so-called conservatives who still support him!”
Oh, I don’t think they’re even pretending to be conservatives anymore. All they have left in their bag of tricks is “Sure he sucks, but you can’t let Hillary win!”
It’s getting tired, and it was already tired to start with.

Were talking about bans on assault weapons. Actually, if you watch the video, the question was simply about "handguns."
Rudy's response called them "attack weapons."

Consider that I have to abide by the law banning them in my community, I better use theirs.
The term means nothing to me.

Where in the Bill of Rights do they specify the “right to travel?”

Where in the Bill of Rights do they specify the right to travel? I dunno. I looked and couldn't find it.
If anyone finds it, let me know! ;-)

The government cannot issue "prior restraint" on speech. If you yell "fire" in a crowded theater, and there really is a fire, you're a hero. If there was no fire, you'll face the consequences afterward. You did not need a permit from the government to yell in either case. Thank you for this post. It was a fine piece of logic. It was the first time I have heard it, and I am damn sure going to remember it.

“We the people, in spite of any Thing in any state constitution to the contrary, for the Bill of Rights/Constituion trumps state law.”
You should read the State Constitutions of the New England States. They make no bones as to what their feelings were towards gun ownership. They are not nearly as ambiguous as the Fed Constitution.

Constitutional rights such as travel and speech do not say SHALL NOT BE INFRINGED!
What a bucket o’ turd.
To: Eastbound
Strictly speaking, guns are NOT mentioned in the Second Amendment.
Its “arms”.
Which means that that part of the constitution is future proof. When the best special forces in the world use telepathic Death Helmets instead of guns, your 2nd amendment will allow you to ‘bear’ them.

The man is a lot of things. He isn’t a fool. He knows exactly what he is doing. He is playing the role of the Pied Piper now. It amazes me that he has been able to deceive so many people.

Rudy called explicitly and repeatedly for national gun registration and licensing/testing as a requirement. I’ve heard the tapes and seen the videos. It was no off the cuff remark: he’s a grabboid first class.

Cars are not specifically mentioned in the constitution. The Founding Fathers certainly would have included an enumerated right to vehicular transportation, but the notion of oppressing that right was so STUPIDLY PREPOSTEROUS they never thought of it.
