I can finally agree with something hea says.
I can finally agree with something hea says.
Oh, boy! I’m for Fred, but I really like this statement from Romney.
“Romney Calls Global Body a ‘Failure’ (Withdraw from U.N. and form new coalition)”
Now this is an issue near and dear that I do not believe that Mitt is changing his mind on. I like his position on this. A lot.
“We should withdraw from the United Nations Human Rights Council.”
Actually, the United States doesn’t have a seat on the human rights council, which it has been boycotting.
Oopsy.
“practices that create human cells for stem cell research.”
Is the LeftJournalist referring to the “practice” that “creates human cells” by waving a magic wand over a steaming cauldron, or in a Kenner EasyBake oven, or is it the “practice” that kills live human embryos to harvest their DNA?
Good! Very good! An surprisingly excellent statement by Romney. I am a Fred and Duncan guy, but Romney has hit a nerve by this.
“The former governor also said he would oppose using federal dollars for abortions and would appoint Supreme Court justices opposed to abortions.”
Good to hear. But does he mean it? Seems to me that we’d have to elect him and then pray to God that he mean’t every syllable and wasn’t just saying what we want to hear.
In this day and age of almost all folks in the government not being trustworthy, that is a heck of a lot to take on faith.
He’s right.
Now THERE’S something I’ll support Romney on.
WooHoo!
He just hit this one out of the ball park! Good for him!

would appoint Supreme Court justices opposed to abortions.
Anyway, this is irrelevant if Democrats have 55 seats in the senate in 2009. Even the most ultra-conservative president could not appoint justices opposed to abortion in that case. So in that sense, senate is crucial.
We should withdraw from the United Nations altogether. Wasn’t there a piece of legislation in the UN that would ban private ownership of firearms in all member nations?
There is no law that should supersede the Constitution.
I also despise the U.N.
If Mitt does as well, why doesn’t he come out with guns blazing and denounce the proposed Law of The Sea Treaty
LOST?
Mitt is definitely on to something here.
Goes up in my book a couple of notches.
