Didn't our Founding Fathers know that there was plenty of 'hate' in the history of humanity? Duhhhh ! That's why they wrote the Constitution of the United States in such a specific manner as to quell the power of the governors (potential tyrants) over the governed (the populace).

So-called "hate crime" legislation is nothing more than an attempt to put power over the governed back into the the hands of the governors, and is wholly unconstitutional ... imho, of course.
