I will have to watch the deer more carefully on the way to work from now on. The males love to dart onto the roads as they are chasing the does when it’s cold.

A jealous husband hired a private detective to check on the movements of his wife. The husband wanted more than a written report; he wanted video of his wife’s activities.
A week later, the detective returned with a video. They sat down together to watch it. Although the quality was less than professional, the man saw his wife meeting another man! He saw the two of them laughing in the park. He saw them enjoying themselves at an outdoor cafe. He saw them dancing in a dimly lit nightclub. He saw the man and his wife participate in a dozen activities with utter glee.
“I just can’t believe this,” the distraught husband said.
The detective said, “What’s not to believe? It’s right up there on the screen!”
The husband replied, “I can’t believe that my wife could be so much fun

It was one of my top five bonds of all time. Lazenby did a very good job.
It was just that the movie had a downer ending that made it unpopular.
However,it was not a money loser, If I remember correctly, it was only second to Butch Cassidy as a money maker in 1968.

Good morning, Mac...heading out the door for work. It's pitch black outside except for the blanket of yellow leaves covering the lawns and some of the street. Gotta watch for icy streets.

Got this in email:
MY LIVING WILL
Last night, my friend and I were sitting in the living room and I said to her, “I never want to live in a vegetative state, dependent on some machine and fluids from a bottle. If that ever happens, just pull the Plug.”
She got up, unplugged the TV, and threw out my wine.

From even maybe an older set. The whistling theme from the John Wayne movie, ‘The High and the Mighty.’ 1954.

I said High and Mighty was bad. It was mostly flashbacks on the lives of various passengers. Someone gave me the DVD last Christmas. Guess I was expecting more action.
Maybe it’s not so bad. I’ll watch it again.

I’m not much of a pianist but got the sheet music, arranged by the composer, back just after 1955. I still love to play through it. It is very rich in unusual chord sequences that fit together beautifully.

I’ve had a few deer hit the cars, and only hit one with the front bumper. Most run into the sides of the cars on the side streets.
