Hey diddle, diddle,
The President fiddled;
The Cow sang a Socialist tune;
The two of them laughed,
At the impotent courts,
And the Cow ran away with the spoons.

Seadog, it took Mother Freep (moi) a few seconds to figure out who this ditty was about. When it dawned on me, it was all the funnier.

You followed the words and rhymes in the real nursery rhyme quite closely, making the poem all the more effective.

Your clever allusions bring back memories of the huge freeper "Count the Silverware Inaugural Ball" in DC in 2000.

Your Mother Freep Nursery rhyme will be ladled into the "Best" category along with previous outstanding ones......and five dollars ($5) will be forked over to the FReepathon as a contribution in your name.

Thanks, Seadog, for a whale of an entry.

Leni
