No, our system got backlogged there for awhile and we were getting very little throughput. Don’t know what caused it, but John’s workng on it. Hopefully he’ll get it tuned up.

Have you ever seen paint scraped from a pump just to keep it from over-heating as much? Oh the stories one could tell .... :)

"There was an old lady who lived in a shoe
Let me tell ya, brother, she knew just what to do
She cooked up some broth and whipped out her bread -
Got ready to hit the grassroots to send the lefties off to bed."
I see you put your whole sole into this rhyme. You can enter one more time, so stay pumped up....but don't buckle under the strain.
Thanks for the entry.....it's definitely going to be instep for the "best" category.

I'm being good. I'm sitting here working on my Halloween costume. I am such a hoot!
I think it'll be a big hit.

Dear, dear, what can the matter be
Oh, dear, what can the matter be
Dear, dear, what can the matter be
It's taking so danged long to post!
It wasn't an auspicious day for posting of Mother Freep Nursery Rhymes. It was click-and-wait, click-and-wait all day.
One poem was posted today for $5 added to our present $45 kitty.
We have to feed this kitty RIGHT NOW because the dillars and dollars will be donated to the FReepathon......along with some extra bonus bucks for the Best and the Worst rhymes.
Details of the contest are in # 19 on this thread. Fascinating entries already posted are scattered on the various pages, so go take a gander at them for inspiration,.
Here's a tip.....type "nursery rhymes" in your search engine. Read all the goodies from your childhood. Then put your own conservative/political spin on one of them. Then post your perfect/pathetic parody here. Easy as plum pie.
You do NOT have to donate a shilling to be in this competition. Your rhyme is your donation....and each rhyme is matched with a $5 contribution. You don't even have to be a able to rhyme cat and rat. Poetic illiteracy may win you the top spot in the "Worst" category. You'll become a famous winning loser on this forum!
It's still taking too long to post right now, so Mother Freep is now going to sail to the land of Nod in her beautiful pea green boat. Tomorrow is another day.
Hope to see lots of rhymes tomorrow to help FR reach its fund-raising goal as fast as a popping jack-in-the-box clown!
