Giuliani Begins Returning $9.11 Checks (RINO opportunist's $9.11 fund-raiser)

After New Yorkers (and others) became outraged that a California supporter threw a fund-raiser for him asking for donations in the denomination of $9.11, the Giuliani campaign quietly began returning the checks. It's a small gesture..... but it's something. Is Giuliani finally recognizing how offensive it is for him to try to own the September 11 tragedy? Is he taking note that if his home city finishes turning against him, he'll have a hard time convincing people that he has a great mayoral legacy? Does this signify personal growth on his part? Eh, probably not. It's just $9.11, people.

If the WOT is lost, all other issues -abortion, guns, taxes etc, are meaningless. This is a very dangerous statement you made. I would zot you if I had the power.
Shame on you.
There is no reason to fight a WOT, if we lose our liberty in the process.
Meaningless? What is wrong with you? Rudy liberalism has corrupted you.

>>>” I announced as the 9/11 candidate on 9/11. I would not even be here if 9/11 had not happened. I own 9/11. 9/11 is my lucky number. Even my dog is named 9/11. And my wife has 9/11 tattoed on her thigh. I get up at 911 AM everyday and retire at 911 PM. I only buy cars that get 9 to 11 miles to the gallon. I live on 911 Ninth Street at the corner of 11th Avenue. 9/11 is the lottery number I play everyday.I’m buying the 7/11 store chain and renaming it 9/11. I dated my 9 yr old cousin when I was 11. I had my first sexual experience when I was 11 years old; it lasted 9 nanoseconds. Elect me and I will make 9/11 a national holiday. I will make sure 9/11 will be forever embedded in the memory of post-9/11 America.”<<<<
LMAO!

What is dangerous about it? If a nuclear bomb is detonated in one of our metropolitan areas, all issues being debated here would indeed be meaningless for years.
How soon we forget that horrendous day, and the overt threats made against us.
I would argue that you are placing abortion over the very existence of this nation, when Giulani has explicitly stated that he will appoint strict constructionists tot he SC with NO LITMUS TEST. (He was on H&C last night)

Other than Rudy’s Hillry like obsession with becoming the next president I have yet to hear or read anything about him that provides the evidence he is presidential. Neither of them are leaders they are more like kings/queens enforcing a protection racket for their own personal kingdoms.

If a nuclear bomb is detonated in one of our metropolitan areas, all issues being debated here would indeed be meaningless for years. You seem to be avoiding having to answer this very basic question - ARE YOU SAYING THE OTHER GOP CANDIDATES WOULD NOT BE AS STRONG AS RUDY IN THE FIGHT AGAINST THE WOT? (with the exception of Ron Paul)
Why is it that Rudy supporters NEVER answer this question?

The "9.11 checks" had nothing to do with the Giuliani campaign. They were raised during a private fundraiser.
The returned checks as discussed in this threade are a different matter as well.
SNIP
Patricia Arcaro, a retired Philadelphia-area attorney, said she sent a $9.11 check to Giuliani after hearing about the fund-raiser on the news. I am a strong supporter of Rudy Giuliani and I immediately sat down and wrote a check to the campaign, she said in an interview today. I think it would have been a great grass-roots campaign effort.
Arcaro said afterward she received a letter with a return check from the campaign that stated, Unfortunately we must return your contribution. We do not solicit or collect financial support that is indicative of the attacks of Sept. 11, 2001. It was signed by Giuliani campaign treasurer John Gross.
Arcaro was undeterred. I turned around and sent a substantially larger check for $910, she said. I said, Ok, fine Ill do it that way.

Yes, I believe that. I would not support him if I believed otherwise.

Name me one other conservative politician that decreased total abortions by almost 17% over an eight year period?(she said BREATHLESSLY)
Name EXACTLY HOW RINO-rudy, NARAL's poster boy, ACTUALLY decreased abortions in The Peoples Republic of NYC?
Isn't it a FACT that abortions were dropping nationally at the time?
Sounds like so much RINO-rudy propaganda BULLSH*T to me.
And you, and weak-minded, so-called "Republicans" (did you stay in a Holiday Inn Express last night?), are eating it up, hook, line, and sinker.

Rudy is not my first choice, but he is certainly going to be my choice if he wins the nomination. I am not going to bash his record on Sept 11, 2001 ...ever!

How soon we forget that horrendous day, and the overt threats made against us. How dare you dear. How dare you and your Rooty Tooters act like you take the high road on 9-11.
Everyone on FR has never forgotten that day. And guess what, we don't use it for an opportunistic reason.
You have bought totally into a man who has not proved, even once, that he is fit to be POTUS. He has never served in our military, and you would make hm best candidate for CIC.
You would give it all up for Rudy.
He is all for open borders so do not tell anyone he would be tough on terror.

So do I, but it has NOTHING to do with the Giuliani campaign. Some guy did it at a fundraiser and embarrassed himself. End of story.
