After New Yorkers (and others) became outraged that a California supporter threw a fund-raiser for him asking for donations in the denomination of $9.11, the Giuliani campaign quietly began returning the checks. It's a small gesture..... but it's something. Is Giuliani finally recognizing how offensive it is for him to try to own the September 11 tragedy? Is he taking note that if his home city finishes turning against him, he'll have a hard time convincing people that he has a great mayoral legacy? Does this signify personal growth on his part? Eh, probably not. It's just $9.11, people.
Sean Larry-King-Hannity has become a total joke. Of course, when he sold Schwarzenegger as a "conservative," he was just as bad.
Here are some more for your collection (more at the link)

“In an interview with the Christian Broadcasting Network, presidential candidate Rudy Giuliani said his dreams of becoming a priest ended when he realized he couldn’t give up having sex. Ironically, that’s also what ended his first and second marriages.” —Jay Leno
“In an interview with the Christian Broadcasting Network, Rudy Giuliani said he is guided by Jesus and the Bible, and he doesn’t want people to judge his private life. He then said, ‘Let he who is without sin cast the first stone.’ And then Mitt Romney hit him in the head with a rock” —Jay Leno
“Obviously you never visited NYC before Giulanis tenure and after.”
Yeah, somehow the transformation of New York under Giuliani is ignored. My sister moved to New York in the early 80s. I remember visiting then. Times Square as a war zone, 42nd Street a row of closed buildings, except for porno shops, the subway trains all covered with graffiti.
In the mid-90s I lived for a year in the City. No more grafitti, Times Square revitalized, I felt safe at any time of night. By way of example, if I saw a group of somewhat thuggish-appearing “yoots” hanging around West Fourth Street at 1 a.m. on a Saturday Night, I knew I had nothing to fear, because with Guiliani on the job, I knew they would be on good behavior.
Keep in mind that what Giuliani did was not only claimed to be impossible, Giuliani was looked upon by all the best authorities as addle-brained for making the attempt. And he accomplished it by holding both the city government and the citizens accountable, not by making excuses for bad behavior. When the liberals, who got New York in the mess in the first place, howled at Giuliani’s approach, he basically told them they were wrong, and to shut up.
There’s no question that he is arrogant, cold, and doesn’t like to be upstaged (ask William Bratton). He’s also not a strong conservative. But I think it counts for something that the liberals cannot stand him.

Political Party Alliance
The National Stonewall Democrats
The National Stonewall Democrats is the nations only grassroots Democratic lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender organization. The Stonewall Democrats focus on making change in three ways; educating the LGBT community about the differences in the political parties, mobilizing the LGBT community on election day to get-out to vote for fair-minded Democrats and standing up against the Republicans when they attack our families and civil rights.
Dave Noble, Executive Director www.stonewalldemocrats.org
The Log Cabin Republicans
The mission of the Log Cabin Republicans is to work within the Republican Party to advocate equal rights for all Americans, including gays and lesbians. Log Cabins mission derives from our firm belief in the principles of limited government, individual liberty, individual responsibility, free markets and a strong national defense. We emphasize that these principles and the moral values on which they stand are consistent with the pursuit of equal treatment under the law for gay and lesbian Americans.

Moral decay kills slow and painfully...
The fact the Rudy’s name or a group Rudy has supported is even being used or shown in any association with the Boylovers, direct or not, should bring out a swift and decisive refutation of these people, but alas, a liberals home is his castle.
Sad there are those who find him remotely acceptable even after seeing past the facade...
To even be remotely associated is unacceptable. The links show more than remote.
I can’t find any justification for it.

Agreed.
You just have to take an eraser to that penciled in R after Rudy’s name and it fits like a glove...
bump
I see they are in good company with the lawyer jokes.
LOL well I will NOT say anything about who most likely were driving those cabs....so there just might be something to this 'experience'!!!!
How are we supposed to defend ourselves against terrorists after Rudy signs every last gun ban that comes across his desk? The WOT is about more than standing on a pile of rubble and having your picture taken.
Hmmm... any relation to Richard Sorge associate and communist super-spy Agnes Smedley?
Rudy was a democrat. He switched parties. Well, on paper anyway.
I don’t know. A lot of these people use allias and sometimes it is real hard to surf them out.
Yes, he showed leadership. The tackey $9.11 idea was not his.
Look close, it’s the same piece of paper, just with Liquid Paper” over the D and an R penciled in...
Barely...

Yes, and if any Saudi terrorists try to attack us by bopping us over the heads with a big check, you can rest assured Giuliani will not accept it! Or if terrorists menace us by attempting to attend a cultural event, Giuliani will bar the door! That covers 2/3's what his own supporters laud as his foreign policy experience, right?
